In the latest edition of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2025, Macau’s gastronomic landscape has witnessed remarkable growth, with the total number of Michelin-starred restaurants reaching 19. This year’s guide highlights the exceptional culinary standards upheld by both long-established and new entrants in the region’s vibrant casino scene.
Melco Resorts & Entertainment continues to shine with eight Michelin Stars awarded across five of its restaurants, showcasing a strong presence in Macau’s luxury dining market. The highlight remains the Jade Dragon at City of Dreams, which has impressively maintained its Three Michelin Star rating for the seventh consecutive year. Alain Ducasse at Morpheus has also held onto its Two Michelin Stars, celebrating another year of redefining French gastronomy with a thoughtful blend of tradition and innovation.

Other Casino Operators Rewarded
However, Melco is not the only highlight of the 2025 guide. The overall increase in Michelin-starred establishments has been buoyed by new additions and promotions, such as Sushi Kissho at Galaxy Macau and Aji at MGM Cotai, each earning a one-star rating for the first time. These new stars reflect a broader trend of diversification and excellence within Macau’s dining establishments.
The ceremony, hosted at the Grand Lisboa Palace, also marked significant achievements for other establishments. Robuchon au Dôme retained its three-star rating, reinforcing its position as a bastion of French culinary art in Macau. Chef Tam’s Seasons at Wynn Palace was elevated to a two-star status, highlighting its innovative approach to Chinese cuisine.
The guide also recognized the continued excellence of restaurants like The Eight at Grand Lisboa and Wing Lei at Wynn Macau, each maintaining their two-star ratings. This year’s guide showcases a total of 54 restaurants in Macau, including 11 Bib Gourmand outlets recognized for offering quality three-course meals for under MOP 400, and 24 ‘selected’ establishments, highlighting the variety and depth of Macau’s culinary offerings.
The Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau continues to serve as a barometer for culinary excellence, and this year’s edition underscores Macau’s growing prominence as a global culinary destination, with both established names and new players contributing to the vibrant and diverse dining scene.
